The photographs and images in this collection were acquired through a variety of donors and sources throughout the history of Emily Carr University and its preceding institutions: the Vancouver School of Decorative and Applied Arts, Vancouver School of Arts, Emily Carr College of Art and Design, and Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design. Many of the donors and sources are unknown and the photographs and images were collected by the ECU Library + Archives staff in order to provide visual documentation of ECU's history. Selected photographs from this collection were previously digitized and made available on ECU Library's eCollections.
